National Universities Coordinator
Roles and responsibilities
- Chair the National Universities Committee
- Work with the National Universities Committee to ensure that all its responsibilities are met
- Annually develop a national universities development plan
- Act as a central point of contact for universities
- Ensure that AFDA university initiatives are communicated Australia wide
- Ensure that universities are properly organised and resourced for orientation weeks
- Nationally, oversee the organisation of intervarsities, regional university championships and australian university championships
- Maintain the national universities contact page
- Maintain the universities section of the AFDA website
- Liaise with Australian University Sport (AUS)
- Assist Australian University Sport (AUS) to appoint a Host and Competition Manager for the national University Championship
- Attend the annual AFDA Conference
- Take advantage of opportunities to develop new universities or campuses
Qualifications and experience
- Experience with ultimate frisbee at the university level preferred
- Experience as an administrator in a university ultimate frisbee club preferred
- Experience as a state or regional universities coordinator preferred
Appointment
Appointed by the AFDA CEO for a term of office at the CEO's discretion.
