Your mobile ... providing live results from Nationals

Results are planned to be uploaded into the system as soon as they are received and registered by Frisbee HQ at the fields in Melbourne, so you won't have to wait long to find out how your favourite team is progressing.

For players...

It happens every tournament. You have finished your pool play, but are unsure exactly where you finished (how do those tie-breakers work??). You want to know where and when your next game is, and who you will be playing. This problem has now been solved! Each captain has been asked to register their mobile phone. As the Scores Online system receives the final score for a pool, it will calculate the ranking order of those teams (including the tie-breakers!) and sms each captain to tell them their next set of games. If the system doesn't know your opponent, it will at least tell you where and when to play, and then sms the captains again when it knows your opponent.

What if can't remember the draw, and your captain has deleted their sms? This is easily solved! Anyone can send an sms to the Scores Online number (0427 489 458) with the message team,remain,xxx where xxx is your TeamID as recorded here (Open: here, Women: here). The system will send you back an sms with the remaining games for your team.

For spectators...

Obviously spectators probably won't have access to the internet whilst at the fields. But there is mobile phone coverage, so you can still get your fill of information.

Want to know a team's draw, or how they are progressing? Send an sms to the Scores Online number (0427 489 458) with the message team,remain,xxx where xxx is a TeamID as recorded here (Open: here, Women: here). The system will send you back an sms with the remaining games for your team. If you want to know the team's full draw, including scores for any completed games, send the message team,full,xxx to the same number.

Maybe you want to see competitors in the same pool as your favourite team? Send an sms to the Scores Online number (0427 489 458) with the message pool,draw,xxx where xxx is a PoolID as recorded in the online draw (Open: here, Women: here). The system will send you back an sms with the draw for your pool. If you want to know the rankings from a completed pool, send the message pool,rank,xxx to the same number.

For those people stuck at home or in the office...

The easiest way for you to get your information is to go direct to the website: http://scores.thefrisbee.net. From there you can see every team, every game, every pool, updated automatically as scores are registered by Frisbee HQ. And if you are going to be away from the computer for a while, have a look at the tips for spectators above and use your phone instead.
